Consultation + Customized Coaching = Technical Assistance
Technical Assistance is a term used in education and government to mean consultation and specialized help for the public.
An IPEC consultation for Technical Assistance happens in four steps:
- Observation session with child and staff at center
- Debrief session
- Written recommendations and feedback
- Follow-up coaching session with debrief
IPEC also offers technical assistance using Practice Based Coaching. This includes up to 8-weeks of intensive coaching cycles for needs identified by the IPEC specialist and program after consultation.
