Jennifer Boyter, SSP, BCBA, LBA is a LASARD Facilitator located in Northwest Louisiana. Her career path has been diverse, but has always involved education. Jennifer started as a classroom teacher and quickly learned that she needed training to better serve students with unique learning differences. She then studied School Psychology at LSU Shreveport and worked in Pupil Appraisal for her local school district.

Jennifer’s work in school psychology nurtured a strong desire to collaborate with teachers serving students with autism. Specifically, how the study of Applied Behavior Analysis could help understand a student’s motivation and behavior in the classroom. Jennifer was fortunate to work as an Autism Specialist and BCBA for her local school district. Now as a LASARD Facilitator, Jennifer is excited to collaborate with school districts to build capacity and support teachers and students.

Jennifer and her husband have four adult children. Her daughter, her daughter’s husband, and two of Jennifer’s sons live and work in beautiful Oregon. Jennifer’s youngest son is currently in law school at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Fun fact: all three of Jennifer’s boys are engaged to be married within a year of each other!! Jennifer’s home life now involves her husky rescues (Stella and Teddy), a little poodle (Geoffrey), and a cat (Huckleberry). Jennifer enjoys mountain biking, time with friends, and dreaming and scheming on ways to spend time with her kids!
