Emily Grest

Hi! I’m Emily Grest. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I provide services through the Louisiana Early Steps program, as well as my own small business, Deep Roots Behavior Support. When I was in high school, I volunteered  in a classroom for students with ASD. This experience inspired me to pursue a career and life goal of empowering individuals with exceptional needs and neurodevelopmental differences. Within the field of behavior analysis, I am interested in a family centered model, as well as incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Yoga into my programming.  I am so honored to be a part of the LEND Scholar program! I have worked with ages 1-19 years. My goal for the LEND training experience is to become more knowledgeable in the areas of policy and advocacy, so I can better empower people with disabilities and exceptional needs in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. My hope is that I can help people feel supported during transitions in life, such as entering school, graduating school, and becoming a young adult.
