Greetings. I’m Keenya T. Finley. Born and raised in the Big Easy, New Orleans, Louisiana. I was educated in the Orleans Parish School System. Later, I graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education. I’m the proud mother of one. I’m currently employed as a Child Development Specialist here at LSUHSC HDC’s Early Learning Center. In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends, as well as line dancing. A song that best describes me is “Video” by India.Arie. It assures me to be who I am and be proud. In my profession, it also allows me to nurture young minds, helping them build positive learning blocks that will help them reach their daily, ongoing developmental milestones.
