Updated Trainee Handbook
The AUCD Trainee Handbook is intended to be used to support AUCD network trainees with a variety of learning goals. CSEFEL is a national resource center promoting evidence based practices to support social emotional competence and appropriate behaviors in young children. It provides print and video resources for professionals and families.
Technical Assistance Center on Social Emotional Intervention (TACSEI)
TACSEI takes the research that shows which practices improve the social-emotional outcomes for young children with, or at risk for, delays or disabilities and creates FREE products and resources to help decision-makers, caregivers, and service providers apply these best practices in the work they do every day.

Copyright to the nationally lauded booklet has been donated to the The Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation. The booklet continues to be available in print and as a free digital download through the Lettercase program at the University of Kentucky's Human Development Institute. Over 25,000 copies of Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis have been distributed nationwide since 2008.
