The Human Development Center-TIERS group announces six (6) webinars addressing different aspects of Response to Intervention (RtI)/Early Intervening Services (EIS). Three webinars are designed to address issues pertinent to elementary education; the other three will address issues relevant to educators at the secondary level. Participants will earn one (1) CEU credit for each webinar. You can also earn even more CEU credit if you choose to complete homework assignments based on the webinar content. What an easy way to make your dollar go further! See below for more details and a glimpse inside each of the topics that will be covered.
How do you describe RtI to others, including parents? This webinar will introduce participants to a cogent graphic that is useful in designing and describing your local school’s model on RtI. On one page you will be able to depict all the components that should be included in your school’s RtI plan.

All the planning and talk won’t make a difference if interventions are not implemented. How will you know? This webinar will offer practical and brief methods for determining if interventions are being implemented correctly. When a student fails to respond to intervention, schools don’t know if the intervention itself isn’t working unless they have also measured intervention fidelity.
