The Human Development Center Institute 2008 was a big success. A total of 344 people attended the two-day gathering.

Most presentations received high marks and all of our sessions were well attended.

This year’s HDC Institute (Autism Spectrum Disorder: Issues and Strategies Across the Life Span) was attended by individuals from a wide range of backgrounds including, but not limited to: educators, family members, persons with ASD, speech, occupational, and physical therapists, advocates, psychologists, social workers, and physicians. The Institute provided a variety of venues for participants to learn and share information related to ASD including keynote and breakout sessions, panels, and informal receptions designed to facilitate discussion and “networking” among participants.
